Kiriani Mission Hospital, Murang'a
Kiriani Mission Hospital is a private medical institution under The Medical Practitioners and Dentists. The hospital is located in Kiriaini and is managed by the Catholic Diocese of Muranga and was started in 1958.
This hospital caters for Mathioya and the surrounding areas providing services at low prices.
The mission hospital however needed new laundry machines to cater for the heavy loads of laundry services at the hospital resulting to unhygienic way of living.
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals that call for good health and wellbeing for all by 2030, Safaricom Foundation invested Ksh. Kshs 861,600 towards the purchase of laundry machines.
With the new laundry machines, the hospital can now maintain high standards of hygiene ensuring the patients also use clean and safe beddings and hospital garments.
